"This is a fascinating, well illustrated and thoroughly documented response to the relentless anti-Christian propaganda that has been generated by Muslin and Marxist groups and by Hollywood film makers. As Karl Marx declared: 'The first battlefield is the re-writing of History!' 'Peter knows first hand the nature of the enemy the West is facing and exposes it brilliantly in this book on Islam. He begins by documenting the close relationship between Islam and slavery and then chapter by chapter reveals the terrible cost of thirteen centuries of Islamic invasion, conquest and brutalisation. This is a book that every Christian should read and pass along to friends; and one that every home-schooling family should require as part of their children's curriculum' -- Dr. Brian M. Abshire. 'Dr. Peter Hammond cuts through layers of misinformation and uncovers astonishing historical facts and details long buried by Islamic revisionists. You'll find out their real agenda for tomorrow by discovering what they actually did yesterday-plus a field-tested plan of how to win Muslims to Christ' -- Rev. Bill Bathman. 'For the sake of this generation, and coming ones, someone had to do what Dr. Peter Hammond has just done; setting the record straight on the different role players in the slave trade' -- Rev. Fano Sibisi. 'Slavery, Terrorism & Islam, is must reading to all those who want to find out the roots of the Terrorism that is threatening global security' -- Rev. Jeffreys Kayanga." -- BACK COVER.
The terror masters of ISIS are determined to get America's attention. They’ve humiliated the Iraqi Army we trained and seized territory in Iraq that we had secured at the cost of so many American lives. They’ve beheaded American journalists on camera in a direct challenge to the power and resolve of the United States. And now ISIS is calling for “city wolves” across the United States to act on their dedication to the Islamic State’s blood-drenched ideology and murder innocent American citizens at random. Who is ISIS? Where did it come from, and what is driving its successful campaign of murder and conquest? Our government and our media alike seemed to be blindsided by the Islamic State’s blitzkrieg-like advance, which forced American troops back into Iraq. ISIS has conquered a territory roughly the size of the state of Indiana, rules over eight million terrorized souls, and has even revived the practice of legal slavery. And yet the true motivations, inner workings, and future plans of this terror state and its mysterious caliph seem almost as obscure as when ISIS first burst onto the world scene. In ISIS Exposed, veteran investigative reporter Erick Stakelbeck gets inside the story of the new caliphate and reveals just how clear and present a threat it is.

Servants of Allah presents a history of African Muslims, following them from West Africa to the Americas. Although many assume that what Muslim faith they brought with them to the Americas was quickly absorbed into the new Christian milieu, as Sylviane A. Diouf demonstrates in this meticulously-researched, groundbreaking volume, Islam flourished during slavery on a large scale. She details how, even while enslaved, many Muslims managed to follow most of the precepts of their religion. Literate, urban, and well-traveled, they drew on their organization, solidarity and the strength of their beliefs to play a major part in the most well-known slave uprisings. But for all their accomplishments and contributions to the history and cultures of the African Diaspora, the Muslims have been largely ignored. Servants of Allah—a Choice 1999 Outstanding Academic Title—illuminates the role of Islam in the lives of both individual practitioners and communities, and shows that though the religion did not survive in the Americas in its orthodox form, its mark can be found in certain religions, traditions, and artistic creations of people of African descent. This 15th anniversary edition has been updated to include new materials and analysis, a review of developments in the field, prospects for new research, and new illustrations.

Author: Ali A. Rizvi
Publisher: St. Martin's Press
Release Date: 2016-11-22
In much of the Muslim world, religion is the central foundation upon which family, community, morality, and identity are built. The inextricable embedment of religion in Muslim culture has forced a new generation of non-believing Muslims to face the heavy costs of abandoning their parents’ religion: disowned by their families, marginalized from their communities, imprisoned, or even sentenced to death by their governments. Struggling to reconcile the Muslim society he was living in as a scientist and physician and the religion he was being raised in, Ali A. Rizvi eventually loses his faith. Discovering that he is not alone, he moves to North America and promises to use his new freedom of speech to represent the voices that are usually quashed before reaching the mainstream media—the Atheist Muslim. In The Atheist Muslim, we follow Rizvi as he finds himself caught between two narrative voices he cannot relate to: extreme Islam and anti-Muslim bigotry in a post-9/11 world. The Atheist Muslim recounts the journey that allows Rizvi to criticize Islam—as one should be able to criticize any set of ideas—without demonizing his entire people. Emotionally and intellectually compelling, his personal story outlines the challenges of modern Islam and the factors that could help lead it toward a substantive, progressive reformation.

Al-Qaeda doesn’t care about “Hope” and “Change” The threat of terrorism in America, the Obama administration assures us, is contained and controlled. Recent attempted attacks like the Times Square bombing, the “underwear bombing” on a flight over Detroit, and the attack on a Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Oregon were all isolated plots that failed anyway. In the words of Homeland Security secretary Janet Napolitano, “The system worked.” Don’t believe it. In The Terrorist Next Door, investigative reporter Erick Stakelbeck exposes the staggering truth about our national security: the Obama administration is concealing and whitewashing the enormous terrorist threat growing right here within America’s borders. If you believe terrorism is only a problem for other countries, Stakelbeck’s on-the-ground reporting will open your eyes. He has been inside America’s radical mosques, visited U.S.-based Islamic enclaves, and learned about our enemies by going straight to the source—interviewing al-Qaeda-linked terrorists themselves. In this shocking book, Stakelbeck reveals: How Islamic radicals have established separatist compounds and even jihadist training camps throughout rural America That an overt disciple of Iran's Ayatollah Khomeini now leads one of the largest mosques in America How mega-mosques aren't just planned for Ground Zero—they're being built in the heart of the Bible Belt as part of a plan for Islamic domination What a former U.S. covert agent inside the Iranian regime says about Iran’s program to recruit Americans into terror groups How the Obama administration’s beguiling counter-terrorism policies are increasing the threat of another 9/11 The Terrorist Next Door sounds the alarm on a growing threat to every American—one that the U.S. government refuses to face honestly or even to name. As we struggle against a relentless and adaptable Islamist enemy that is committed to destroying our nation, we can’t say we weren’t warned.

SHORTLISTED FOR THE BAILLIE GIFFORD PRIZE ‘Brilliant' Orhan Pamuk 'The best sort of book for our disordered days: timely, urgent and illuminating' Pankaj Mishra 'It strikes a blow ... for common humanity.' Sunday Times The Islamic Enlightenment: a contradiction in terms? The Muslim world has often been accused of a failure to modernise, reform and adapt. But, from the beginning of the nineteenth century to the present day, Islamic society in its Middle Eastern heartlands has in fact been transformed by modern ideals and practices, including the adoption of modern medicine, the emergence of women from purdah and the development of democracy. Who were the scholars and scientists, writers and politicians that brought about these remarkable changes? And why is their legacy now under threat? Beginning with the dramatic collision of East and West following Napoleon’s arrival in Egypt, and taking us through 200 tumultuous years of Middle Eastern history, Christopher de Bellaigue introduces us to key figures and reformers; from Egypt’s visionary ruler Muhammad Ali to brave radicals like Iran’s first feminist Qurrat al-Ayn and the writer Ibrahim Sinasi, who transformed Ottoman Turkey’s language and literature. This book tells the forgotten story of the Islamic Enlightenment. It shows us how to look beyond sensationalist headlines to foster a genuine understanding of modern Islam and Muslim culture, and is essential reading for anyone engaged with the state of the world today.

Genre: Political Science
How has Islamic State been able to muster support far beyond its initial constituency in the Arab world and attract tens of thousands of foreign volunteers, including converts to Islam, and seemingly countless supporters online? In this compelling intervention into the debate about Islamic State's origins and future prospects, the renowned French political scientist, Olivier Roy, argues that while terrorism and jihadism are familiar phenomena, the group's deliberate pursuit of death has produced a new kind of radical violence. In other words, we're facing not a radicalization of Islam, but the Islamization of radicalism. Indeed, Roy argues, young European Muslims drawn to IS are attracted to the organization's violent means rather than utopian dreams of a caliphate. He places IS in the context of other radical millenialist groups such as China's Red Guards, Cambodia's Khmer Rouge, and Uganda's Lord's Resistance Army. In doing so, he shows that violence, not religious fundamentalism, is the central thread connecting young people who are drawn to radical groups. Jihad and Death is a concise dissection of the highly sophisticated narrative mobilized by IS: the myth of the caliphate recast into a modern story of heroism and nihilism.
Author: Brigitte Gabriel
Publisher: St. Martin's Press
Release Date: 2008-01-08
Genre: Biography & Autobiography
Brigitte Gabriel lost her childhood to militant Islam. In 1975 she was ten years old and living in Southern Lebanon when militant Muslims from throughout the Middle East poured into her country and declared jihad against the Lebanese Christians. Lebanon was the only Christian influenced country in the Middle East, and the Lebanese Civil War was the first front in what has become the worldwide jihad of fundamentalist Islam against non-Muslim peoples. For seven years, Brigitte and her parents lived in an underground bomb shelter. They had no running water or electricity and very little food; at times they were reduced to boiling grass to survive. Because They Hate is a political wake-up call told through a very personal memoir frame. Brigitte warns that the US is threatened by fundamentalist Islamic theology in the same way Lebanon was— radical Islam will stop at nothing short of domination of all non-Muslim countries. Gabriel saw this mission start in Lebanon, and she refuses to stand silently by while it happens here. Gabriel sees in the West a lack of understanding and a blatant ignorance of the ways and thinking of the Middle East. She also points out mistakes the West has made in consistently underestimating the single-mindedness with which fundamentalist Islam has pursued its goals over the past thirty years. Fiercely articulate and passionately committed, Gabriel tells her own story as well as outlines the history, social movements, and religious divisions that have led to this critical historical conflict.
Since September 11, 2011, Dr. Robert Morey has been in great demand as an internationally recognized scholar on Islam and Muslim terrorism. He earned a Ph.D. in Islamic Studies and has been debriefed by both the FBI and Naval Intelligence on the meaning of Jihad and his vast knowledge of Muslim terrorism in the United States. His counter-terrorisms efforts resulted in several attempts being made on his life. For ten years prior to 9/11, he warned America that radical Muslims were planning to launch a Jihad or Holy War on the America (Dr. Morey's landmark work, Islamic Invasion, was published in the 1980s). "I have been in the military for the last twenty three years and it is refreshing to find someone who is not afraid to stand up to incredible pressure and political correctness. The man who proposed dropping atomic bombs on Japan was at first vilified, mocked and then denounced as crazy. But, in the end, it was the only practical way to win the war against Japan. Morey's plan to win the war on Muslim terrorism is the only practical way to do so with minimal loss of life and property." LCDR Bryan W. "As a member of the United States Marine Corp's most successful Cell Warfare program for over 18 years, the Combined Action Program, I became an expert on warfare, and, after graduating the Program, I was given the honor of teaching Cell Warfare to many soldiers. What is the basis of Islam's Warfare theory called "Jihad"? Dr. Morey's book documents that it is based on the pro-violent teachings and practices of Mohammed. Morey clearly understands the nature and aim of Islam's global jihad. Hostility, Hatred, Disorder, Slavery, Poverty, Ignorance, and Misogyny are the fruits of Islam. Just look at past or present Muslim culture and nations. Morey lays out a military plan to win the war against radical Islam, not just fight it. In war, we sometimes have to do the unthinkable in order to avoid the intolerable. If America does not do what is necessary to win the war against terrorism, terrorism will win the war against America." Steve K. (United States Marine Corp) "In this book, Dr. Morey gives a penetrating discussion of radical Islam. He reveals its diabolical nature and aim of world conquest. Within these pages the truth is made plain about the violent nature of Islam according to the Qur'an and accepted Hadiths. No democracy can ever flourish in a theocratic rule based upon Sharia laws from the Qur'an. Human rights are considered the product of Western Civilization and there is no concept of civil or personal rights under Islamic rule. In this book you will find the best solution to the problem of radical Islam. The facts will challenge you to do the right thing. These are critical times facing the world. Get it right " Prof. Colin P. Akridge (internationally recognized African American Scholar and Viet Nam War veteran) Dr. Robert A. Morey Ph.D., D. Min., D.D.
