Flaming Assholes

Author: Eric Pedersen
Publisher: CreateSpace
ISBN: 1469969572
Release Date: 2014-07-31
Genre:

You can always retake a class, but you can never relive a great party. This was our mantra as a rugby team at The University of Alabama. We treated every day as a party and we didn't care what anyone thought. Flaming Assholes is a raunchy recount of the day-to-day activities that took place from the year 2001 to 2004. The book depicts how our team made the USA Today, the run-in's with local and not-so-local police, and why the City of Tuscaloosa changed codes because of us. The book also delves into the destruction of property; stolen vehicles; and broken hearts, spirits, and faces. Flaming Assholes contains nothing but debauchery, immoral decisions and actions, and really nothing having to do with the sport of rugby. Our rugby team was full of degenerates looking for ways to act as such. Every day was an adventure and this book is a recollection of the most memorable, yet lewd, stories about this team. Put your humility and dignity aside -- we didn't have any. Thus, the reader shouldn't either. If you're easily offended, this book is probably not for you. If you are not one for caustic or abrasive language, go read something else. Seriously.

ISBN: 9780810869387
Release Date: 2009-07-29
Genre: Music

Songs written for Disney productions over the decades have become a potent part of American popular culture. Since most Americans first discovered these songs in their youth, they hold a special place in one's consciousness. The Disney Song Encyclopedia describes and discusses hundreds of famous and not-so-famous songs from Disney films, television, Broadway, and theme parks from the 1930s to the present day. Over 900 songs are given individual entries and presented in alphabetical order. The songwriters and original singers are identified, as well as the source of the song and other venues in which it might have been used over the years. Notable recordings of the song are also listed. But most important, the song is described and what makes it memorable is discussed. This is not a reference list but a true encyclopedia of Disney songs. The book also contains a preface describing the criteria for selecting the songs, a glossary of song terms, a list of all the Disney songs and their sources, a songwriter's directory in which every song by each composer/lyricist is listed, a bibliography, a guide to recordings and DVDs of Disney productions, and an index of people and titles.
