In his book, Reversing Chronic Lyme Disease, Craig Bruner has written perhaps one of the most in-depth, intelligent, and comprehensive books ever written on the subject of chronic Lyme disease. “Extremely powerful, yet practical.” It addresses nearly every important level of the Lyme narrative. A no-holds barred and honest look at how the government and conventional medicine have not only failed the Lyme victim, but by using their drug-based model have actually prolonged the disease in the vast majority of chronic sufferers. The author lays out a new paradigm that he used himself to reverse and completely heal his long-entrenched chronic Lyme disease, almost exclusively without the use of drugs. This book puts the power of healing squarely back in the hands of the Lyme victim, and provides an intelligent road map that can be custom designed to help reverse Lyme disease even in the most resistant of sufferers. This is a monumental work and represents the culmination of over 6 years of research. Seldom has the subject of Lyme disease been studied, written about, and presented on such a level. It will open your eyes with an in-depth look at not just Lyme disease, but the chronic form which other authors seldom even discuss, let alone present why it happens. Additionally, Craig Bruner shares therapies based upon the findings of research primarily targeted towards reversing chronic Lyme disease, many of which have never been presented in any other book. Certainly most doctors are not even aware of this information. This book may make most others obsolete. Get ready to be overwhelmed by the thorough manner in which the topic of chronic Lyme disease has been explored, and many of the newer strategies that can be employed which have brought healing beyond expectation. Be warned, this is powerful information that can offer the sufferer new hope that he/she can experience a deeper level of healing.
Fasting An Exceptional Human Experience Since prehistory, fasting has been used in various ways as a means of transformation. As a spiritual practice, it is the oldest and most common form of asceticism and is found in virtually every religion and spiritual tradition. In psychology, studies have suggested that fasting can alleviate the symptoms of some psychiatric conditions, including depression and schizophrenia. In medicine, fasting is one of the most promising therapies, with research suggesting that fasting can cause certain drugs, such as chemotherapy, to work better while reducing drug side-effects. Hunger striking, sometimes called political fasting, may be the most powerful application of fasting. Proof of this occurred in 1948 when Gandhi’s hunger strike caused millions of Hindus and Muslims in India to cease their fighting. As a practical guide, Randi Fredricks, Ph.D. provides detailed information on the different types of fasting, where people fast, the physiological process of fasting, and the contraindications and criticisms of fasting. Using existing literature and original research, Dr. Fredricks focuses on the transformative characteristics of fasting in the contexts of psychology, medicine, and spirituality. The relationship between fasting and transpersonal psychology is examined, with a focus on peak experiences, self-realization, and other exceptional human experiences. Dr. Fredricks demonstrates how fasting can be profoundly therapeutic, create global paradigm shifts, and provide personal mystical phenomena.

Is there a secret that allows you to lose weight quickly and steadily, while continuing to eat your favorite dishes and as much as you want? Imagine that there is a nutritional model that allows you to lose weight incredibly quickly and without counting the calories, to keep it low, and to benefit from a longer and healthier life. How important would it be for you to discover this secret, at last? What impact could it have on your shape, your health and your wellbeing? This book illustrates a model of "intermittent fasting" that represents an "ancient secret" (because it has been used since ancient times), but rediscovered only in modern times and increasingly supported by numerous scientific researches to support its validity and effectiveness, not only in terms of weight (fat mass), but also in terms of longevity, physical and mental wellbeing. The 80/20 Pareto Diet is based on an Effectiveness Principle known as the "Pareto Principle", applied successfully in every field, from Business, to Economics etc. In the 80/20 Pareto Diet you alternate cycles of fasting and nutrition on a daily basis, instead of the "5 small meals a day" model, which, on the contrary, constantly keeps the body in a state of hyper-feeding. The Pareto Diet is a "nutritional model" rather than a "typical diet", and does not include any restrictions on which foods to eat, but rather on when to eat them. In order to understand how great and effective this diet is (which is not a typical diet but a nutritional model), and why it’s dedicated to Pareto, an economist of the last century, we must illustrate the homonymous and universally known principle from which it takes its name: the Pareto Principle, meaning the 80/20 rule. The Pareto principle, as we can read from Wikipedia, is a result of a statistical-empirical nature that is found in many complex systems that have a cause-effect structure. The principle states that about 20% of the causes cause 80% of the effects. These values are meant as qualitative and approximate. It takes its name from Vilfredo Pareto (1848-1923), one of the major Italian economists and sociologists, and finds application in a surprising multitude of fields and disciplines. In just a few simple words, this Principle states that in order to achieve 80% of the results, only 20% of the efforts, or specific actions for that particular result, must be carried out and leave out 80% of the unnecessary and useless actions that waste time, effort and maybe cause a decrease in motivation because they stand in the way or delay the results. The nice thing is that this rule, which guarantees a high degree of effectiveness with minimum effort, is applicable in almost every field and area of life. If you can identify those specific actions that represent 20% of the Principle, you can reach 80% of the results. The principle, although it is theoretical, can be easily found in reality and in every area of life: from business, to sports, to personal relationships, up to the "Diet" or to a style or dietary model that guarantees not only a fit body but also a higher level of health (oh yes! Even a smarter and more intelligent mind, as we will examine in detail when we’ll address the neurotrophic benefits of this nutritional model). In order to apply, specifically, the Pareto Principle to a diet, weight loss and psychophysical wellbeing, it is necessary to translate the 80/20 Pareto Principle to the diet or to the diet that must be followed to achieve the greatest efficacy in less time and with the least effort. I am not afraid to challenge here, in terms of effectiveness and guarantee of success, any other diet or nutritional model (Zone diet, ketogenic, low carb, Atkins or whatever). Even if this statement might seem exaggerated or excessive, I only ask you to keep on reading the physiological and biochemical principles on which it is based (with noteworthy scientific studies which it refers to), but most of all to put it exactly into practice for at least two or three weeks (the time necessary so that everyone can see the results for themselves).
